Welcome to Sanso Health
Sanso Health's innovative technology is essential in the battle against Covid-19 as it enables isolated patients to receive respiratory therapy remotely with real-time, cloud-based provider notification of dangerous reduction in SpO2 levels. This helps reserve ICU beds and treatment for the most severe cases while providing state-of-the-art therapy at home, long-term care facilities, or other non-acute healthcare sites.
Sanso Health is a healthcare technology company founded to create game-changing solutions for patients requiring short or long-term supplemental oxygen. The company has developed oxygen delivery products that meet the therapeutic needs of patients, the monitoring and data management needs of caregivers, and the cost reduction needs of healthcare systems and payers.
The company’s first product, Sanso Via™, analyzes physiologic need and automatically delivers oxygen doses via nasal cannula. The device connects to a standard oxygen tank and records the patient’s blood oxygen saturation, pulse rate, respiration rate, oxygen consumption, and activity level for transmission to the Cloud.

The need for monitoring supplemental oxygen use in homecare is paramount.
There is an oxygenation problem globally with a steady increase of people living with moderate to severe COPD. Many are treated inaccurately without awareness of blood oxygen saturation that should be determine how much and when oxygen should be administered. This results in increased exacerbations, ER visits, and hospital readmissions, which are driving up healthcare costs for everyone.

The need to prevent over-oxygenation in acute care is critical.
There is growing evidence negative outcomes in providing too much supplemental oxygen to non-COPD patients in acute care settings, which can lead to severe complications and even organ damage. All too often patients are put on high-flow oxygen without monitoring blood oxygen saturation to determine when oxygen should be curtailed.

Typically, a patient’s oxygen saturation level in the blood (SpO2) is measured periodically using a pulse oximeter and their oxygen flow is manually adjusted by mechanical dial. These flow rates stay fixed until modified, which is often done using subjective information or infrequent clinical measurements. While numerous products have been introduced to make oxygen therapy more portable, convenient, and efficient for patients, none have addressed the real problem: the failure to “close the loop” between the prescribed drug therapy (oxygen), a desired clinical measurement (oxygen saturation), patient outcome (better oxygenation), and cost-reduction (fewer exacerbations and hospitalizations). Sanso has solved this problem by creating a closed-loop feedback control system that monitors real-time oxygen saturation and automatically adjusts oxygen dosage to achieve and maintain the desired SpO2 level. Simply put, Sanso integrates patient monitoring with oxygen dosing to deliver as much oxygen as needed, but only when it is actually needed.
We are inspired every day by our mission to advance therapeutic oxygen delivery and remote monitoring for millions of patients requiring supplemental oxygen. Our innovative technology will help people live well and longer by getting the most out of the molecule of life - Oxygen.
